The invention deals with the management of phone numbers attribution after replacement of a smart card (SCA), particularly a SIM card, by a new smart card (SCB). Said smart card (SCA) is coupled to a communication device (CD) being able to communicate with a network Said smart card (SCA) stories at least one parameter (IMSI>A<, ADM>A<, KI>A<) attached to a first current phone number (MSISDN>A<).
