Assembling three-dimensional, rigid, transparent fabrication, e.g. making glass loudspeaker housing, using double-sided adhesive tape to join transparent components

Two transparent components, e.g. of glass, are joined by double-sided adhesive tape so that no subsequent cleaning operations are necessary and the joint is free of bubbles, with a clean edge. The joint is subjected to pressure for at least 30 minutes and a heat treatment up to a maximum of 15o degreesC can be used. At least some of the components in the construction are flat glass sheets with polished edges.
