PURPOSE: A planetary gear set is provided to improve the durability of the power train unit by supporting the structural moment applied to a rotating shaft of a pinion gear with forming a stepped portion in the pinion gear. CONSTITUTION: A planetary gear set comprises a pinion gear(1) having a stepped portion; a sun gear(3) and a ring gear(5) engaged with steps of the pinion gear; a first idle support unit placed outside the step of the pinion gear engaged with the sun gear; and a second idle support unit placed inside the step of the pinion gear engaged with the ring gear. Lowering of durability is prevented from structural moment by supporting the pinion gear with keeping balance with the first idle support unit and the second idle support unit. An idle gear(7) revolves and rotates around the central shaft between the central shaft gear and the gear formed in the outer wall by forming the cylindrical idle support units.
