1. An ignition spark plug, preferably for internal combustion engines, comprising a body with working, fixing and outer portions, an insulator installed in the body cavity and a central electrode located in the insulator, characterized in that an insulator element made of sapphire monocrystal has a portion extending beyond the body outer portion. 2. The ignition spark plug of claim 1, characterized in that the insulator is completely made of the sapphire crystal. 3. The ignition spark plug of claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the plug is provided with a heat emission receiver positioned opposite the insulator portion made of the sapphire monocrystal and extending beyond the body outer portion. 4. A method of claim 1 for temperature measurement in the combustion chamber by the intensity of heat emission from the combustion zone, characterized in that the heat emission is measured on the sapphire insulator outer portion of the ignition spark plug.
