REFLECTIVE LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

PURPOSE: A reflective LCD device is provided to form an upper glass substrate in light guide plate structure, and to configure a front light system with a lamp and a lamp cover without a light guide plate, then to attach the front light system to one side of the upper glass substrate, thereby deleting the light guide plate in the front light system. CONSTITUTION: A lower glass substrate(1) and an upper glass substrate(4) cohere with each other at intervals of a liquid crystal layer(3). A front light system(8) is mounted on one side of the upper glass substrate(4) instead of a front side of the upper glass substrate(4). The front light system(8) consists of a lamp(6) and a lamp cover(7). The upper glass substrate(4) is in light guide plate structure. A polarizer(5) controlling a polarized state of light is disposed between the upper glass substrate(4) and the liquid crystal layer(3).
