Motion-based image segmentor for occupant tracking using Hausdorf Distance heuristic

The method involves comparing a current ambient image with a prior ambient image. A border of the current segmented image is identified using the differences between the current ambient image and prior ambient image. A template is matched to the identified border with a Hausdorf distance heuristic. An independent claim is also included for a segmentation system for isolating a segmented image from an ambient image.
