The present invention aims at the question of cannot support the data packet transmission with high efficiencies on existent Synchronous Digital Network equipment, it discloses a method of transmitting data service on synchronous digital network, comprises the steps below: add a resilient packet ring (RPR ) processing module after the Ethernet interface; data of the Ethernet interfa ce pass the RPR processing module after it is up transmitted, map the up transmitted Ethernet data to a RPR data frame by the RPR processing module, map the data frame to the synchronous digital networks payload by LAPS/PPP/G FP encapsulation protocols, size and amount of the virtual container which mapp ed to the synchronous digital network may be configured. When the data frame do wn from the cycle net, corresponding node uncovered the resilient packet ring data frame, recovered the originally data. The present invention can support the transmitting of the data packet with high efficiencies, and can perform adjustable cycle path, and bandwidth statistics multiplexing. |
