A vehicle is disclosed that includes a frame, a seat, a steering device disposed on the frame to control a steerable member, and an engine. At least one component is operatively connected to one of either the engine or a steerable member. A fairing is incorporated into the frame. The fairing has a first surface forming at least a portion of an outer surface of the vehicle. The fairing also has a second surface, at least a portion of which is offset a predetermined distance from the first surface. The second surface is disposed adjacent the at least one component. The second surface defines at least one hole therethrough permitting access to the at least one component.
