<p>PURPOSE: An incinerator for treating solid medical waste and an adsorbing plant for enriching oxygen among air are provided to incinerate harmful medical waste over 2000 deg.C by increasing the density of oxygen among air with compact structure. CONSTITUTION: An incinerator for treating solid medial waste comprises an incinerating block, an oxygen enriching block and a dust and harmful material removing block. A combustion chamber is composed of an external insulating body(14) and a cooling jacket(8), and tuyeres(9), a grating(11) and an ash collector(12) are arranged in the head of the combustion chamber. A nozzle(13) supplies oxygen-enriched air to an afterburner(15) and a jacket(7) of a screw(4). The oxygen enriching block includes an air compressor(16), a receiver(17), a pipe line, a valve(19), a silica gel cartridge(20) and a zeolite adsorber(21). A cylindrical external housing of the adsorber has the round section, and an inner shell has an elliptical section. The sectional area of the shell is decreased in reducing the eccentricity of the ellipse, and the active sectional area is reduced with moving air through the adsorbent layer between the inside of the external housing and the outside of the inner shell and streaming flow from the shell to the outlet pipe.</p> |
