摘要 Disclosed is a method for purifying or separating a gaseous mixture containing H2S and at least one other hydrocarbon or hydrogen compound, in which at least one portion of the H2S molecules of said gaseous mixture is adsorbed on at least one adsorbent of type zeolite A, 5 to 45 percent of which is exchanged with potassium cations. Preferably, at least 10 or even 15 percent, but no more than 35 or 40 percent of the zeolite A is exchanged with potassium cations. The gaseous mixture that is to be purified or separated contains between 0.001 and 80 percent by volume, preferably between 1 and 30 percent, of H2S which is obtained, for example, from a treatment unit of a refinery, e. g. a hydrotreatment unit, a catalytic cracking unit, a thermal conversion unit, or a catalytic reforming unit, or from one of the fuel gas networks of the refinery.
