PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for inspecting a size of a foot and a flat foot are provided to economically measure the size of the foot with precision by remedying a demerit of an apparatus for measuring the size of the foot through expensive optical and mechanical operation units. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for inspecting a size of a foot and a flat foot includes a breadth direction diode for measuring the length of the foot and a length direction diode for measuring the width of the foot, which are insulated from each other through a common grounding part. If a foot to be measured is positioned at a measurement plate so as to be detected, a length direction terminal(V) and a breadth direction terminal detect the position of the foot. A central process unit determines the size of the foot and the width of the foot and displays the size and the width of the foot.
