PURPOSE: A microstrip spiral antenna is provided to allow for ease of design by permitting the antenna to have a planar feeder structure and eliminating the necessity of using an additional matching terminal. CONSTITUTION: A microstrip spiral antenna(10) comprises a dielectric substrate(11) having a predetermined dielectric constant and a height(h); a ground surface(12) formed on the top of the dielectric substrate; a slot(13) formed on the center of the ground surface, and which has a predetermined radius; a spiral line(14) formed at the portion having a center point same as the center point of the slot formed at the bottom surface of the dielectric substrate; and a feeder line.
