Blood transporting device for use within the blood circulation system to support or replace the pumping function of the heart. Said device comprises a container (1) that can be inserted into a heart chamber and has an explosion chamber to which at least a gas supply line (2, 3) is connected for delivery of a oxygen and hydrogen gas mixture. An ignition device (4) is used to trigger a small explosion that causes the gas to expand with a consequent expansion of the explosion chamber in the heart chamber, causing a blood pumping result.
