The valve (V) has a housing (S) with an externally threaded screw-in section (F) between low pressure or ambient pressure side (L) and a high pressure side (H). At least one pressure equalisation path (D,D") is provided for connecting the two sides. The path may comprise an axial bore (10) connecting the start and end of the threaded section or it may be formed by local removal of threads of the externally threaded section by grinding or flattening.
