摘要 PURPOSE: An organic blue light emitting diode is provided, to obtain high external quantum and current efficiency and an excellent CIE coordinate by using an aromatic compound applicable to an organic light emitting layer and a hole transport layer. CONSTITUTION: The organic light emitting diode comprises a positive electrode formed on a substrate; a negative electrode; and a light emitting layer containing a compound represented by Ar1-Ar2 or Ar1-Ar3-Ar2 located between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, wherein Ar1 and Ar2 are independently a substituted or unsubstituted isochrysenyl, anthracenyl, naphthalyl, biphthalyl, pyrenyl or phenanthrenyl group; Ar3 is a substituted or unsubstituted phenylene, biphenylene, naphthylene, anthracenylene or fluorenylene group. Optionally the organic light emitting diode comprises further an electron transport layer between the light emitting layer and the negative electrode, wherein the light emitting layer is a hole transport layer.
