HEAD DRUM ASSEMBLY OF TAPE RECORDER

PURPOSE: A head drum assembly is provided to directly bond a rotor case at a rotary drum and at the same time to eliminate a spacer conventionally installed between a magnet yoke and a stator coil so that it reduces a production cost. CONSTITUTION: The assembly comprises a rotary drum(110), a fixed drum(120), a motor stator(150), a motor rotor(140). The rotary drum(110) rotationally supports a magnet head for scanning a magnetic tape, and recording or regenerating data on or from the magnetic tape. The fixed drum(120) is embedded parallel in a shaft(130) combined at a center hole of the rotary drum(110). The motor stator(150) is installed at the fixed drum(120). The motor rotor(140) is combined with the rotary drum(110) for rotationally facing against the motor stator(150). A rotor case(141) of the motor rotor(140) is directly bonded on a lower circumference of the rotary drum(110). When a gap is adjusted between a magnet yoke(151) and a stator coil(152) of the motor stator(150), a gap between the rotor motor(140) and the motor stator(150) can be adjusted and the same feature with a conventional one can be maintained.
