PURPOSE: A device for waterproofing an output shaft for a vessel is provided to prevent the inflow of seawater and the leakage of oil by improving the structure of a waterproof packing member. CONSTITUTION: A device for waterproofing an output shaft for a vessel is composed of a bearing unit(160) rotatably supporting the output shaft, a fixing member(110) mounted between a through hole and the outer circumference of the output shaft and fixing the bearing unit, waterproof members(140,150) mounted in the fixing member and preventing a water leakage between the bearing unit and the fixing member, a waterproof ring(170) preventing a water leakage between the bearing units, a fixing ring supporting the waterproof ring, an elastic member(180) sticking the waterproof ring to the bearing unit, a water leakage preventing member, a cooling member cooling the bearing and the waterproof ring, and safety units(200,210) detecting water leakage and overheat.
