Liquid crystal display and driving method thereof

A data driver (20) has multiple data driving integrated circuits connected to respective data lines (D1-Dm) and supplied with a ground and a supply voltage. The data driver receives image data whose voltage level swings with reference to a voltage lower than the supply voltage, and applies the voltages corresponding to image data to data lines. A gate driver (30) applies gate signals to the gate lines (G1-Gm). An independent claim is also included for liquid crystal display driving method.
