PURPOSE: An automatic authentication system for recognizing an ID card is provided to sell products for adults in a vending machine by confirming the truth of the ID card and judging a user's age. CONSTITUTION: An automatic authentication system for recognizing an ID card includes a communication unit(112), a card recognition unit(111), a storage unit(117), the first recognition unit(115), an identification unit(118), and a motor control unit(116). The communication unit(112) is connected to a main control unit of a vending machine in order to transmit or receive the identification information. The card recognition unit(111) recognizes an inputting state of a smart card, reads the information of the smart card, and transfers the read information to the main controller. The storage unit(117) stores the authentication information and the adult authentication information. The first ID card recognition unit(115) recognizes an inputting state of the first ID card and detects the surface information of the first ID card. The identification recognition unit(118) confirming the truth of the first ID card and judging a user's age by using the surface information, the ID card authentication information, and the adult authentication information. The motor control unit(116) opens a corresponding inlet according to a control command of the main controller. |
