Compressor wheel assembly

The compressor wheel assembly includes a compressor wheel (22) mounted to a rotating shaft (20), wherein the shaft extends through a bore provided along the rotational axis of the compressor wheel. The compressor wheel is keyed to the shaft such that rotation of the shaft drives rotation of the wheel through the keying engagement. An independent claim is also included for a turbocharger.
