PURPOSE: A method for recognizing a business card using mobile communication is provided to photograph a business card on the spot by using a camera installed in a mobile phone, and to transmit the photographed business card to a server, then to recognize business card information in order to classify the information, thereby inputting the business card information at any time. CONSTITUTION: A system captures a business card image by photographing a business card with a digital camera disposed in a mobile phone. The system calls the mobile phone, and connects with a business card management server. The mobile phone transmits the captured business card image to the business card management server. The business card management server recognizes the business card image as business card information by using a character recognition program, and classifies the recognized business card information. The server stores the recognized business card information at a user assignment table of a database by item. The system calls the mobile phone, and connects with the server. The system retrieves and confirms the business card information stored in the database of the server. |
