INK JET PRINT HEAD AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An ink jet print head and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve performance of the ink jet print head by using a filter layer formed between a manifold and an ink channel. CONSTITUTION: An ink jet print head includes a manifold(102) on which ink exhaust ports(103) are aligned in two rows. A plurality of bonding pads(101) are provided on the manifold(102) in such a manner that the bonding pads(101) are electrically connected to the ink exhaust ports(103). The manifold(102) is connected to an ink container. A semi-spherical ink chamber(106) is formed on a substrate. The manifold(102) is formed at a bottom surface of the substrate in order to feed ink into each ink chamber(106). A filter layer is formed between the manifold(102) and an ink channel in order to prevent particles from penetrating into the ink chamber(106).
