The suction device (1) has a conveying system (4) moving the automobile wheel (2) past an electronic camera (7), for detecting the axial and angular position of the wheel, for controlling a movement device (9) for a suction head (12) with a number of suction jets, used for removal of powder-coated paint from precise areas of the wheel.
