PURPOSE: A blood-compatible medical metal material and a preparation method thereof are provided to enhance the antithrombogenicity and biocompatibility greatly by modifying the surface of the medical metal material. CONSTITUTION: The blood-compatible medical metal material comprises a substrate metal; a functional silane compound bonded to the surface of the substrate metal; PEO(poly ethylene glycol) derivatives bonded chemically through the functionality of the silane compound; and heparin bonded through the functionality of the PEO derivatives. The functional silane compound is represented by formula Y-R-Si(CH3)a-X3-a(wherein, X is ethoxy, methoxy, butoxy, acetoxyl or chloro group, a is an integer of 0, 1 or 2, R is C2-C4 alkyl group, Y is amino, epoxy, isocyanate, hydroxyl, mercapto and vinyl group).
