PURPOSE: A device for guiding a steel strip for a shearing machine is provided to improve productivity by automatically controlling the height of a guide body and by moving the steel strip forward smoothly. CONSTITUTION: In a shearing machine for shearing a steel strip, a plurality of guide members(10) include a guide body(14), and a guide unit(16). The guide body is vertically guided on a fixed member(12) fixed to the front of a frame. The guide unit is inserted into the guide body, and supports the steel strip elastically. A height control unit(30) includes a screw(32) vertically installed at the lower part of the guide body, a worm gear(36) engaged with a helical gear(34) fixed to the screw, and a driving shaft(40) inserted into the worm gear and coupled to a driving motor, and controls the height of the guide body.
