PURPOSE: A safe braking device of a vehicle is provided to help a driver to drive safely and reduce driver's fatigue by preventing the vehicle on a slope road from rolling back when the vehicle stopped on the slope road starts and maintaining a braking state without continuously stepping on a brake pedal, in stopping the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: In a safe braking device of a vehicle, an input part inputting a set value, to set up the vehicle speed and a standard of judgment, an accelerator pedal sensor deciding the operating state of an accelerator pedal, a vehicle speed sensor deciding whether the vehicle speed corresponds to the set value, and an inertia switch cutting off a current applied to each control part when the braking device abnormally operates are electrically connected to an input side of a control unit. An auxiliary braking unit is electrically connected to an output side of the control unit. The auxiliary braking unit has a driving motor(42) into the middle part of which a driving shaft(41) is fitted, first and second magnets(44,46) forcibly fitted into the driving shaft, a magnetic plate(48) freely fitted to sides of the first and second magnets through the driving shaft, a connection plate(52) fitted to a side of the magnetic plate, and a load sensor(54) installed to a side of the driving motor. The driving motor and the first and second magnets are each electrically connected to the control unit and are turned on/off according to a control current applied from the control unit. The safe braking device moves a brake pedal(15) to a braking position through a braking force transmission part and maintains the brake pedal by comparing information input through each sensor with the set value input through the input part according to a control order and applying a control signal to the auxiliary braking unit.
