SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TESTING/MODELING SYSTEM RESPONSE USING MAXIMUM/MINIMUM INPUT VALUE

PURPOSE: A system and a method for testing/modeling a system response are provided to determine an input profile for the system causing the worst excitation or responds while a system design is analyzed. CONSTITUTION: The system is excited by a reference input having the maximum/minimum input value(14). A time point of the system response having a plurality of the largest response values at the first time point and a plurality of the minimum response values at the second time point is selected(16). The worst maximum excitation having a positive variation to the maximum input value at the minimum input value at each time point and a negative variation to the minimum input value at the maximum input value at each time point is generated(20).
