PURPOSE: A manual transmission having a final reduction gear ratio regulating function is provided to improve acceleration gradeability by increasing final reduction gear ration in a sudden starting and sudden acceleration at a low gear level, to increase riding comfort by weakening driving reaction force from vehicle wheels that is directly transmitted through a driving system to a vehicle body, by accel tip in-out operations, and to maximally utilize the effect of an engine brake and improve braking effects by reducing the final reduction gear ration in a sudden braking. CONSTITUTION: A manual transmission(1) having a final reduction gear ratio regulating function includes a curved surface friction wheel unit formed at an output shaft to vary the final reduction gear ratio to operation conditions of a vehicle. The curved surface friction wheel unit divides the output shaft into a first output shaft(11) connected with an input gear and a second output shaft(12) connected with a differential gear, mounts a driving friction wheel(23) to the first output shaft and a driven friction wheel(25) to the second output shaft, and disposes an intermediate wheel(27) axial-rotated by an actuator between the driving and driven friction wheels to vary a contact point of both friction wheels and regulate the final reduction gear ratio.
