The outer surface of the pipe (1) is provided with two parallel positioned integrated projections (4) located at either side of the tightening band which is at first loosely attached to the pipe (1). Each of the projections (4) consists of two elevations with a gap (5) between them accommodating an elastic c-shaped extension (7, 8) protruding from a locking strip (6) and preventing the unintentional separation of the locking strip (6) from the gaps (5). When the band is tightened it is safely held between the projections (4).
