摘要 PURPOSE: A full time 4-wheel drive differential is provided to simultaneously perform a center differential function of front and rear wheels, a front differential function of the front right and left wheels, a differential limiting function between the front and rear wheels, and a differential limiting function of the front right and left wheels. CONSTITUTION: A full time 4-wheel drive differential comprises an outer case(5) rotating by the rotational force supplied and having plural pockets(11) along the circumferential direction of a rotating shaft; plural pinions(9) of a helical tooth form fitted into the pockets, to have a rotating shaft parallel to the rotating shaft of the outer case; sun gears(7) engaging with the inside of the pinions and transmitting power to rear wheels; an inner case(3) having ring gears(13) engaging with the outside of the pinions; spider pinions(1) installed to a spider pinion shaft(15) in the inner case; right and left side gears(17,19) engaging with the spider pinions; and clutch packs(21) installed between the right and left side gears and the inner case. The inner case is rotatably installed inside the outer case.
