The basic material used for the B102> decontamination process is universally available waste wool or waste-wool non-woven textiles. The grease content of these is lowered below 1% by washing, using textile washers. Washed materials are carbonized, willowed and carded. A portion of the prepared. wool is filled into a polystyrene tube, knitted on a circular knitter. Another portion is turned into a needle felted cover (duvet) by sewn-looping or quilting and having a wt of 250-400 g/sq.m. |
