摘要 PURPOSE: Provided is a method for separating and regenerating ion exchange resin to reduce consumption of Na¬+ cation exchange resin, and further provided is an apparatus for separating and regenerating ion exchange resin. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of (a) introducing anion/cation exchange resin into an anion generation tower and separating the resin using back washing water, (b) transferring the separated cation exchange resin to a cation regeneration tower while transferring medium resin to a cleaning tower, (c) regenerating resins using regeneration agent in the anion and cation regeneration towers, (d) transferring the anion exchange resin regenerated in the anion regeneration tower to the cation regeneration tower, (e) transferring crushed resin to the cleaning tower during the step (d), and washing the medium resin and crushed resin using a washing device of the cleaning tower to eliminate pollutant and crushed resins. The apparatus comprises an anion regeneration tower(10) for separating resins and regenerating anion exchange resin after receiving cation and anion exchange resins, a cation regeneration tower(20) for regenerating cation resin transferred from the anion regeneration tower(10), and a storage unit for storing medium resin and crushed resin separated from the anion regeneration tower(10), wherein the storage unit(30) has a screen pipe(35) connected to a resin inlet(16a), a washing nozzle(36) provided in the screen pipe(35), and a circulation ejector(37) for circulating resin output from the screen pipe(35) to the resin inlet(16a) through a resin transfer pipe(34).
