Scroll compressor with oil separator

A spiral compressor (12) for coolant has an external housing (10), a drive unit (14) with an cam drive (50), a drive shaft (53), and a motor (54) past which coolant flows. The compressor further has a drive shaft bearing (56). After flowing past the motor, the coolant esp. passes through an oil separator (190) prior to flowing through the spiral compressor. The separator is located between the housing (10) and drive system (14).
