Parking lock mechanism for a gearbox

The lock assembly has a sliding sleeve(20) with internal teeth(21) and which by an operating component is brought into engagement with the locking teeth(13) on the parking lock wheel(12). The gearbox may be automatic or manually operated. The operating component is an electrohydraulic actuator or a manually operated mechanical actuating device. The parking lock wheel by means of internal teeth is axially movable with torsionally fixed on wheel housing(14) with external teeth and by spring loading engages with the internal teeth on the sliding sleeve.
