PURPOSE: A device for discharging heat of an engine room for a vehicle is provided to uniformly maintain the inner temperature of the engine room by discharging heated air to the outside of the vehicle through an auxiliary hood and to protect a pedestrian by absorbing impact when the pedestrian bumps against a hood. CONSTITUTION: A device for discharging heat of an engine room for a vehicle comprises a main hood(10) turnably installed through a hood hinge(11); an auxiliary hood(20) turning separately from the main hood through an auxiliary hinge(21) at a predetermined portion of the main hood; an auxiliary hood-opening unit(30) connected to the auxiliary hood, to make the auxiliary hood selectively opened; a control unit(40) sending an electric signal to the auxiliary hood-opening unit, to operate the auxiliary hood-opening unit; and a vehicle condition-sensing unit(50) giving various information about the vehicle to the control unit. The main hood covers the top of an engine room(R) of the vehicle.
