TRIAZINE, ISOCYANURATE, CYANATE ESTER AND BLOCKED ISOCYANATE AS COMPOUNDS HAVING REACTIVE GROUP FOR IMPROVING ADHESION TO METAL SUBSTRATE

PURPOSE: Provided are compounds including a triazine compound, isocyanurate compound, cyanate ester compound and blocked isocyanate compound, as an antioxidant for copper, and thus improve the adhesion of an adhesive, coating and encapsulant to a metal substrate. CONSTITUTION: The compounds are used for coating a metal substrate or a metal surface. Particularly, the metal substrate or metal surface is coated with a solution of: (i) a triazine or isocyanurate compound having a polymerizable functionality; (ii) a cyanate ester compound; and (iii) a blocked isocyanate compound. The metal substrate may be a copper-coated lead frame. The solution preferably has the concentration of the solution of 0.05 wt%-20 wt%.
