摘要 An offset compensating device (218) with a resilient component, such as leaf, torsional or helical springs, is arranged between the steering shaft (210) and chassis (202) to apply a force to a front wheel (204) for counteracting the torque induced by a motor so that a directional offset can be compensated and the front wheel is aligned in a straight forward direction. The front drive electric scooter (200) includes the steering shaft arranged in the front end of the chassis in an upright manner and fixed to the front wheel for swiveling of the front wheel. The motor is coupled to the front wheel such that the motor has a weight inducing a torque to the steering shaft.
