An apparatus comprises a device for connecting a graft vessel to a target vessel such that the two vessels are in fluid communication, and agent(s) incorporated into the cuff for the treatment of reactions by the living organism. The graft vessel has ends-I and -II. The end-I is everted to form a cuff. An independent claim is also included for the treatment of anastomotic site in a living organism.
