<p>PURPOSE: Provided is an aqueous adhesive composition, which shows excellent shelf stability at room, high and low temperatures, excellent adhesion to a substrate, heat resistance and adhesion strength. CONSTITUTION: The aqueous adhesive emulsion composition comprises 30-60 wt% of water and 40-70 wt% of a non-aqueous adhesive component (solid content), wherein the adhesive solid content comprises: (a) 90-99.9 wt% of a vinyl acetate-ethylene polymer; (b) 0.1-10 wt% of a water dispersible polyester; and (c) 0-1 wt% of an emulsifier. Particularly, the vinyl acetate-ethylene polymer comprises 80-98 wt% of vinyl acetate, 2-20 wt% of ethylene and 0-10 wt% of at least one emulsion polymerization unit of other ethylenically unsaturated monomers, based on the total weight of the monomers, and the water dispersible polyester comprises sulfonated polyester dispersion.</p> |
