CERAMIC DISCHARGE TUBE FOR GENERATING OZONE

PURPOSE: A ceramic discharge tube for generating ozone is provided which reinforces adhesion between metal and ceramic by triple coating the discharge tube with ceramic adhesive, prevents dielectric breakdown by closely adhering the coated ceramic adhesive to the discharge tube as reducing pores to the maximum and improves durability. CONSTITUTION: In a discharge tube(100) used as an inner electrode of an ozone generator for generating ozone by silent discharge generated between electrodes by flowing air into a gap between two electrodes and impressing a voltage between the two electrodes, the ceramic discharge tube for generating ozone comprises a metal pipe(101) having certain diameter and length as an inner electrode; left and right cover members(102,103) which are connected to both ends of the metal pipe, and on a central part of which air circulation holes(102h,103h) are respectively formed to suppress generation of welding bubbles due to expansion of air during welding operation; first coating layer(104) formed of a ceramic material and coated to a certain thickness on all over the outer circumferential surface of a closed type cylindrical structure in which the left and right cover members are connected to the metal pipe except the air circulation holes; second coating layer(105) formed of a metal oxide material and coated to a certain thickness on the first coating layer; and third coating layer(106) formed of a ceramic material and coated to a certain thickness on the second coating layer.
