PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method are provided to obtain an armature coil having uniform impedance, while preventing a deformation of the armature coil. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a table; a rotating shaft(101) protruded from the table and arranged to be movable in a vertical direction with respect to the table; a coil supply unit for supplying coils contacting the rotating shaft, wherein the coil supply unit is arranged to be movable toward/from the rotating shaft; a coil compression unit disposed on the table, and which is arranged to be movable toward/from the rotating shaft; a tape supply unit for supplying a tape such that the tape is wound around the coil which is taken up into a cylindrical shape; a cylinder forming unit which advances toward the rotating shaft and presses the coil such that the coil contacting the rotating shaft is wound into a cylindrical shape, presses the tape wound on the coil, or moves backward from the rotating shaft; a cutting unit for cutting the terminal of the coil taken up into a cylindrical shape; a rotation driving unit for driving the rotating shaft; and a vertical driving unit for driving the rotating shaft in a vertical direction.
