PURPOSE: A method for automatically converting into an alarm mode of a mobile communication terminal according to a schedule is provided to convert a current alarm mode into an alarm mode set on a schedule if current time is equal to start time of the schedule, and to return the current alarm mode into a previous alarm mode if the current time is equal to end time of the schedule, thereby converting the current alarm mode according to the schedule. CONSTITUTION: A mobile communication terminal compares whether a current time is equal to a start time of a schedule registered in a schedule management unit(S21). If so, the mobile communication terminal decides whether an alarm mode for the schedule is set to a vibration mode(S22). If so, the mobile communication terminal decides whether a current alarm mode is set to a bell sound mode, and stores set contents for the current alarm mode(S23-S26). If the current alarm mode is the bell sound mode, the mobile communication terminal converts into the vibration mode(S26).
