PURPOSE: A charging notification method and system is provided so that a user can confirm charging information for each call and the charge accumulated up to now. CONSTITUTION: A switching center creates charging information every call(S500) and transmits it to a CNS(Charging Notification Service)(S502). The CNS, receiving charging information for 1 call from the switching center, judges whether the associated user is a CNS subscriber(S504,S506). In case that the associated user is a CNS subscriber, the CNS reassembles a charging information format including charging information for the last call and accumulated charging information, and transmits it to the user in the form of a short message(S508).
