<p>A moving mineral wool web is cut with cutting units (3,3',3,3''',3) arranged on a guiding portion extending partly over the moving web. The guiding portion is kept stationary and its length over the mineral wool web is kept constant, and the cutting units are moved to the cutting position along the guiding portion when the distance of the cutting position from the edge of the mineral wool web is changed. Each cutting unit is provided with a cutting blade (5,5',5,5''',5). The moving mineral wool web is cut in the cutting position which is located at a distance from the edge of the mineral wool web. An independent claim is included for the cutting apparatus for moving mineral wool web.</p> |
