A controller sets the transmission carrier frequency of an electromagnetic interference (EMI) wave from a contactless integrated circuit (IC) card reader/writer, so that the transmission carrier frequency does not fall within predetermined frequency range of carrier frequency of the EMI wave received by the reader/writer. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) wireless communication terminal; (2) wireless communication method; (3) wireless communication program; and (4) computer-readable recording medium storing wireless communication program.
