PURPOSE: Provided are a fabric which maximizes cold-barring effect with nappings, and is effectively used in making sports or leisure wares, and its manufacturing method. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a fabric for sports or leisure wares comprises the steps of: making a double-layered structure with a front spandex style surface and a rear coldbar yarn surface; napping the cold-bar yarn surface using a brush roller; shirring the napped surface; and heat-treating the napped and shirred fabric by using a common tenter.
