FIELD: pipelines construction. SUBSTANCE: method includes filling portions under test or separate gas pipeline portions with gas by means of gas supply until pressure level is reached, which is equal to gas pressure level in gas supply. Method also includes raising pressure in gas pipeline portion under test up to testing pressure by means of feeding gas into it, said gas being extracted from gas-liquid solution formed in pumping device, ageing and pressure release. Before filling portions under test or separate gas pipeline portion with gas until pressure level is reached, which is equal to gas pressure level in gas supply, said gas is accelerated in mode for lowering gas temperature below 0 centigrade by means of throttle effect. Gas-liquid solution is formed out of gas and non-freezing liquid. Gas extracted from gas-liquid solution is cooled in liquid heat-exchanger before being pumped into portion under test. Gas separation from non-freezing liquid is performed by means of special hydraulic binding, consisting of receiving collector, force- pumping collector connected to horizontal pipe splitter, high pressure liquid collector connected to liquid heat-exchanger, and low pressure liquid collector connected to a tank through respective throttling valves.
