FIELD: plastic metal working, namely constructions of stands of rolling mills used for pressure welding at making bimetallic wire. SUBSTANCE: rolling mill stand is mounted on foundation and it includes housing made of frames mutually joined through upper beam. Chock units arranged in housing have two pairs of mutually normal rolls. First pair (along rolling direction) is driven one and its shaft is joined with drive unit. Second pair is non-driven, its shafts are arranged in bearing assemblies. Actuating mechanisms are arranged on extension line of said shafts outside housing and they are in the form of discs mounted with possibility of engagement with braking shoes joined with drive unit and mounted in body of mechanism for changing revolution number of non-driven rolls. Said mechanism is mounted on upper beam of stand housing. Chocks are mounted on shafts and they are joined with their screw-down mechanisms. EFFECT: significantly enhanced quality of bimetallic wire due to making monolithic joints of different type metals. 4 cl, 2 dwg |
