The present invention concerns a disc brake for vehicles, which disc brake comprises a box for receiving a brake mechanism and a caliper. The caliper is detachably fixed to the box. The disc brake is formed of different modules. The box could be said to be a mounting fixture for the other modules. By the modular form the disc brake consists of a number of smaller units facilitating handling during production, repair, maintenance etc. |
