<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily discriminate the machine type of connected equipment without inputting any machine type code by providing a means for reading communication data transmitted from the equipment to a control panel, means for discriminating the machine type and means for selecting a control means for that machine type. SOLUTION: The communication data from a hot water supplier 3 are read by a various data reading means 48, and a machine type discriminating means 47 discriminates the machine type from data expressing the presence/absence or permission/inhibition of any specified function in these communication data. Namely, it is watched whether the insulation of hot water to be boiled is permitted or inhibited and in case of permission, the next step is started. When the insulation of temperature while keeping hot water is permitted, the machine type is discriminated as a semiautomatic hot water supplier. Besides when the insulation of temperature while keeping hot water is inhibited, the machine type is discriminated as a unifunctional hot water supplier. When the insulation of hot water to be boiled is inhibited, on the other hand, the next step is started and when the insulation of temperature while keeping hot water is permitted, the machine type is discriminated as a fully automatic hot water supplier. Besides, the insulation of temperature while keeping hot water is inhibited, it is discriminated the machine type is not clear. The machine type discriminated result is sent to a control means 45 so as to perform control corresponding to the machine type by a control means selecting means 46, and control corresponding to the machine type is enabled.</p> |
